Rather than being one overwhelmingly large open space, Nandi Highland has been architecturally planned with distinct, well-proportioned event spaces. This ensures that even for an intimate wedding, the décor, guests, stage design and other creative elements remain visually prominent and contribute meaningfully to the overall atmosphere.

The result is a venue that can feel intimate and complete for a smaller celebration, yet comfortably scale up for a much larger gathering. Absolutely. Nandi Highland has its own in-house décor options, while clients are equally welcome to bring their preferred outside decorator, wedding planner or event professional.

We believe every celebration should reflect the client's individual vision. Whether you choose to work with our team or bring your own creative team, they will have the freedom to design and transform the venue according to your event requirements while coordinating with us for venue operations and setup.

Both options are available. Nandi Highland has its own in-house catering option, while you are most welcome to bring your preferred outside caterer as well.

Dedicated space can be provided for kitchen preparation and service, giving you the flexibility to choose the cuisine, caterer and dining experience that best suits your celebration.

We understand that every event has its own schedule and requirements. While Nandi Highland has standard operating timings, we are flexible with event timings based on the nature of the celebration and further discussion with the client.

Yes. Previous-day access can be provided for décor and event setup, subject to venue availability and the event schedule.

A basic minimum operational charge will apply for previous-day access to cover the essential costs involved in keeping the venue operational during the setup period. Our team can coordinate directly with your decorator or wedding planner regarding access and setup requirements.

Absolutely. Nandi Highland has multiple distinct spaces, and how those spaces are used is largely determined by the vision of your decorator, wedding planner and event design.

Different areas can be transformed for different ceremonies, experiences or stages of the same celebration. The venue gives your creative team the freedom to decide how they want the event to flow through the property.

Yes. Every booking at Nandi Highland is an exclusive full-venue booking.

Once the venue is booked for your event, we do not accept another event in another lawn or area of Nandi Highland during your booking. Even if you choose not to use a particular space, we will not book that space to another client.

The entire property remains exclusively available to you, giving your family, guests, decorator and event team the freedom to experience and plan the venue as a whole.

Absolutely. We see Nandi Highland as one complete venue experience rather than a collection of individually restricted spaces.

The indoor and outdoor areas can be used together and designed according to the vision of your decorator or event planner. This allows celebrations to move naturally between different environments and gives your team considerable freedom in designing the overall guest experience.

A great deal. Flexibility is an important part of the Nandi Highland experience. Rather than requiring every event to follow a fixed format, we first understand what you are trying to create and then work with you, your planner and your decorator to make the best possible use of the property.

From the choice of vendors and catering to the use of different spaces, décor, setup and event timings, our team aims to be as accommodating as reasonably possible. Every event is different, and we believe the venue should adapt to the celebration rather than forcing the celebration into a fixed template.

Once we understand your event requirements, our team can take you through the relevant package, inclusions and next steps. We also encourage clients to experience Nandi Highland in person before making their final decision. A venue walkthrough can be arranged, where our team will take you through the different spaces and possibilities for your celebration.

For weddings and larger celebrations, we generally recommend booking 4–6 months in advance, particularly if you have a specific date or weekend in mind.

However, there is no strict minimum booking period. If your preferred date is available, we can also accommodate events planned at shorter notice. The earlier you confirm, the better the chances of securing your preferred date.

Pricing is based on the date, duration and specific requirements of your event. Your quotation will clearly outline the complete venue package, including exclusive access to Nandi Highland, the applicable venue spaces and the in-house rooms included as per your selected package and requirements.

A 50% advance payment is generally required to confirm and block your event date. However, we understand that every booking may have different circumstances, and in certain special cases, a lower initial advance may be considered following a discussion with the owner.

Once the booking is confirmed, the client will receive an official booking confirmation email directly from Nandi Highland, containing the event details, client details, address and other relevant booking information. A formal booking agreement will also be issued, clearly documenting the agreed terms and confirming the reservation.

Once this process is completed, Nandi Highland is reserved exclusively for your celebration on the confirmed date, and our team will remain in touch with you throughout the planning process.

One of the advantages of booking Nandi Highland is that you will have direct access to the owner throughout the planning process, rather than having important requirements passed through multiple layers of management.

The owner remains accessible for key discussions and decisions, while our venue manager and on-ground team assist with the day-to-day operational requirements.

This gives every client the benefit of personal involvement at the ownership level combined with dedicated on-ground support throughout the planning of their celebration.

Nandi Highland is designed around the experience of a destination celebration in the Nandi Hills. The venue itself provides in-house rooms, with the exact number of rooms and accommodation included depending on your selected venue package and event requirements. Once you enquire with our team, these inclusions will be explained clearly as part of your quotation.

For larger wedding parties, we also have access to a wide range of accommodation options within approximately a 1 km radius of Nandi Highland, ranging from private villas and hotels across different categories to premium luxury properties.

Nandi Highland can procure the required event-related alcohol licence on behalf of the client, making the process easier for you. If you prefer to obtain the applicable licence independently, you are also welcome to do so.

Our team will guide you through the requirements based on the nature, timing and bar arrangements of your celebration.

Absolutely. Nandi Highland welcomes DJs, live bands, traditional performances and other forms of event entertainment, subject to applicable permissions and local regulations.

Our team will work with you around your required event timings and guide your event team regarding permitted sound levels and any reduction in decibel levels required at particular times.

Where permissions are required, we will also assist you with the necessary process. The objective is to work with your entertainment team so that your guests can enjoy the celebration while the applicable regulations are appropriately followed.

Nandi Highland will provide the generator and power required for the venue's standard in-house operations, including the venue's existing lighting, fountains and other essential venue-related electrical requirements.

Any additional power required specifically for the event — such as décor lighting, professional sound systems, LED screens, stage production or other specialised installations — should be planned and arranged by the decorator or production team.

Since the decorator and production team will have the most accurate understanding of their equipment and electrical load, they can determine and procure the additional generator capacity required for their setup.

Our venue team will coordinate with them in advance to ensure that the venue's power infrastructure and the event's additional power requirements are planned smoothly and separately.

Nandi Highland has both open-air and semi-covered event spaces, including the Chandelier Hall and Pavilion, which provide additional flexibility for dining, seating and other event requirements during changing weather conditions.

For celebrations where rain may be a concern, our team can also connect you with specialised weather-protection vendors for solutions such as German tents and temporary rain-cover systems.

We can keep the relevant vendor in the loop and monitor the weather forecast during the week leading up to your event. If weather protection appears necessary, we will discuss it with you and, following your approval, coordinate for the required installation typically one or two days before the celebration.

This allows us to prepare for changing weather without unnecessarily compromising the original outdoor design of your event.

Nandi Highland has basic event furniture available, including tables and chairs that can be utilised depending on the requirements of the event.

For specialised furniture, themed seating, premium dining setups or décor-specific requirements, clients and decorators are welcome to bring or hire additional furniture according to their event design.

Yes. Nandi Highland is particularly well suited for multiple wedding functions and destination-style celebrations.

The property's different spaces can be designed for individual functions such as mehendi, haldi, sangeet, wedding ceremonies and receptions, allowing each celebration to have its own atmosphere and identity.

Yes. Photography, videography and drone shoots are welcome at Nandi Highland.

Your photography team is free to make use of the venue's lawns, architecture, landscape and Nandi Hills backdrop to capture the celebration.

Drone photography and videography are also permitted within the venue, and our management team can provide the necessary venue-level permissions and coordinate with your photography team. Any external statutory or aviation requirements, where applicable, would still need to be followed.

Nandi Highland does not believe in imposing unnecessary restrictions on your event team. There are no unusual or hard restrictions beyond the standard terms expected at a professionally managed event venue.

All relevant venue policies and conditions will be clearly detailed in the booking agreement, so there are no surprises later in the planning process.

We also maintain separate agreements and guidelines for decorators and caterers, covering their respective operational requirements, responsibilities and venue policies. This allows each vendor to understand exactly what is expected while still giving them considerable freedom to execute the event.

After the event, time is provided for the event team to dismantle décor, remove equipment and complete the venue handover.

Our standard arrangement allows an additional three hours for teardown after the event, while any specific requirements can be discussed with our team beforehand.

Decorators, caterers and other vendors are expected to remove their materials and equipment and leave their respective working areas appropriately cleared so that the property can be handed back in good condition.

Our involvement can begin from the moment you select the venue. We can then assist with accommodation requirements, additional rooms around Nandi Hills, decorators, caterers, event logistics and other requirements, providing an end-to-end support system rather than simply handing over a venue.

Clients also have direct access to the owner throughout the process, alongside our venue manager and on-ground team. Nandi Highland itself was created with a strong emphasis on design, with the owner bringing his background as an interior and project designer into the planning and development of the property.
